Evaporative Cooling And Mold

Residents in Phoenixville, PA, want to stay cool in the summer months. However, your home cooling systems can harbor hidden fungal agents if not properly maintained. Read on to learn how to address a leaking swamp cooler and other pressing problems.

1. About the Appliance

A swamp cooler is an air cooling system designed for climates with consistently low humidity during the summer. Because the saturation of water in the air is so low in these arid climates, it is easy for water molecules to evaporate, removing heat energy from the air during the transition. Most swamp coolers have a fan that blows air over a porous cellulose pad. This air is circulated through the house in a similar manner to conventional compressor-based air conditioners.

2. Mold Conditions

Unfortunately, because these swamp cooler units operate in warm climates and introduce moisture, they are potential sites for mold growth. This phenomenon is exacerbated by the dark conditions inside the unit and the air ducts, since direct sunlight tends to suppress mold. Other mold issues can arise due to a leaking swamp cooler, since any water that spreads beyond the direct path of the fan can build up without evaporating. This also encourages mold to grow.

3. Remedies

If mold is in direct contact with the cellulose pad, simply purchase a replacement for your make and model of evaporative cooler.  Acquire a HEPA filter for your home and ensure adequate air circulation until you can be sure that any particle contaminants are clear. If the unit leaked water into surrounding construction materials such as drywall or flooring, contact a qualified mold damage restoration service.

Remember, while the energy savings of an evaporative cooling system are substantial, they also come with certain risks. Prevent a leaking swamp cooler from becoming a major mold problem by maintaining your unit.

What To Do When Water Gets Into Light Fixtures

When Water Gets Into Light Fixtures, What Should You Do?

A burst pipe in the ceiling or a roof leak can lead to water in light fixtures. It is important that a homeowner take measures to shut off the power, prevent water damage from worsening, and limit damage to the ceiling. Follow these guidelines for handling electrical and structural risks.

Turn Off the Power.

The risk of shock increases when electrical lights are exposed to water. A homeowner should:

  • Avoid touching the light switch.
  • Shut off power at a breaker box.
  • Use a voltage tester on dry sources.

The shock risk diminishes as soon as the power is out. It is still a good idea to leave water in light fixtures alone and call an licensed electrician.

Stop the Leak.

The risk of ceiling damage will persist until the source of the leak is resolved. Every trace of excess water should also be removed. Reduce the risk of a ceiling collapse by:

  • Shutting off the water in the event of a pipe leak.
  • Placing a container under a ceiling bulge.
  • Piercing the bulge to drain pooled water.

These damage mitigation measures may preserve a ceiling and interior. It is still a good idea to contact water damage cleanup and restoration professionals to eliminate moisture and prevent secondary issues, such as mold.

Call an Electrician.

An electrician can safely remove water from light fixtures. There are several reasons to rely on a professional:

  • Water contains conductive particles.
  • Corrosion can quickly form on internal wiring and components.
  • Lights exposed to water may short circuit.

All of these factors may increase the fire risk. It is advisable to rely on experts to minimize electrical risks and water damage.

As soon as a homeowner notices water in light fixtures, it is a good idea to call an electrician. A water damage restoration service can also repair ceiling damage at a residence in Kimberton, PA.

What Is Involved In Fire Damage Restoration?

The days immediately after a home fire are critical. Homeowners should contact a fire restoration company in Charlestown, PA, and notify their insurance provider. The following stages of damage cleaning are necessary to restore a residence.

A service that specializes in fire damage mitigation and restoration will start by assessing the extent of the damage. This inspection should include:

  • Fire or smoke damage
  • Water damage due to fire suppression
  • Building materials and contents that can be repaired or restored
  • Materials and contents that must be torn out and replaced

This service may help homeowners provide an insurer with proof of loss. Experts can also lay out a timeline for restoration.

A full-service restoration company will provide mitigation services. These include measures such as:

  • Boarding-up broken windows
  • Tarping over holes in a roof
  • Security fencing

These measures can limit additional damage prior to fire restoration. Sealing off a damaged structure may also prevent trespassing.

Damage cleaning is critical to the restoration process. During this phase, experts will:

  • Remove ash, soot, damaged materials, and contents
  • Clean stained surfaces and items with smoke damage
  • Filter air and perform odor mitigation

Some of these measures will be done on-site. The service may clean and store smoke-damaged items offsite until restoration is complete.

Once ash, soot, and damaged contents and materials have been removed from the site of a fire, restoration can begin. This may include:

  • Rebuilding damaged structures
  • Re-installing torn out materials and contents
  • Returning cleaned contents

This is the final phase of the fire damage cleanup process. Each stage is critical to restoring the condition of a residence that has suffered a fire.

After a fire at a residence in Charlestown, PA, a homeowner should schedule a consultation with a fire restoration company. Insurers prefer to work with certified services that have extensive experience cleaning up smoke and fire damage.

5 Things You Need to Know About Mold

Mold: Five Things You Should Know

As a homeowner, you don't want to hear that there is black mold in your living space. The thought of mold growth may terrify you. It's true that this fungus can be a problem in Spring City, PA, but the spores themselves really aren't that scary. If you talk to any residential mold professional, you'll learn a few important things about this growth.

1. It is everywhere. Mold already exists in your home. This doesn't mean you need to call in a remediation team right now, but it does mean that the spores naturally occur both indoors and outdoors. You can never have a mold-free house because the spores are always around.

2. It requires water. While the spores may be everywhere, mold cannot thrive in every location. Water is a key ingredient for mold survival. If you have been dealing with a moisture problem in your house, even just high humidity, you may be inviting colonies of mold.

3. It can travel easily. Part of the reason spores can be everywhere is because they travel through water, in the air and on humans and animals. You may introduce mold to your home without realizing that a few spores caught a ride on your shoes.

4. It may have a smell. Some molds, particularly black mold, are associated with a musty odor. This aroma may be what clues you in to your growth. However, this fungus can exist without a tell-tale smell.

5. It needs to be dealt with quickly. Because mold is everywhere and can spread easily, a mold cleanup crew should be called as soon as you suspect the growth is in your house. If not taken care of right away, it may spread to other rooms and the remediation process may grow.

Black mold is something that no one wants to find in their home, but sometimes it finds a way to show up. The more you know about mold the better prepared you will be to take care of the problem.

Never See Montezuma’s Ominous Waters in Your Basement: How To Prevent Sewage Backup

9/13/2021 (Permalink)

Flood cuts and bare cement flooring after flood damage. While basement flooding and potential sewage backup may be concerns for homeowners, the use of any of the above tools can soothe the nerves.

The Spring City area is in a flood zone; therefore, some level of flooding is expected every year, but that does not mean that a sewer line backup resulting from storm damage must be detrimental to your home. While sewer cleaning helps ensure that lines are clear and free of obstruction, routine plumbing maintenance may not eliminate the concern of a sewage-filled basement. Fortunately, four tools can be used to help ease your mind.

1. An Overhead Sewer

While expensive and requiring professional installation, an overhead sewer is a comprehensive defense system against potential backflow. This system utilizes a sump pump arrangement that depends on an ejector pump to force excess water collecting below the floor level into a secondary pipe, preventing any interior damage.

2. A Backwater Valve

Another costly option requiring professional installation is a backwater valve. This type of valve is connected to the sewer lateral and prevents backup by closing its valve and forcing the sewage to flow up and away from the exterior of the house.

3. A Single Standpipe

A simple and cost-effective prevention method is known as a standpipe. True to its name, the standpipe is a single pipe placed upright in the basement floor drain and sealed with rubber caulk. This solution does not prevent sewers from backing up, but it does give sewage a place to go without contaminating your entire basement.

4. A One-Way Drain Plug

Another simple option is a one-way drain plug. These plugs install quickly and are relatively inexpensive. They are designed with a float that plugs the drain opening when water levels get too high; thus preventing any sewer backflow from entering the basement.

While basement flooding and potential sewage backup may be concerns for homeowners in flood zone areas, the use of any of the above tools can soothe the nerves. However, as this type of damage is not 100 percent preventable, it doesn’t hurt to consult with flood specialists.

Identifying Mold: How To Know When Black Mold Has Invaded Your Home

8/31/2021 (Permalink)

Mold growth on wall. If you suspect that your home is infested with mold, reach out to your local mold remediation experts to schedule a mold inspection.

Black mold. It's one of those scary things that homeowners hear about but hope to never have to deal with. Unfortunately, this type of mold can develop anywhere, in just about any home, and as quickly as overnight. If you discover mold in your home and want to know whether it's the black variety or something far less sinister, contact Phoenixville, PA, mold remediation experts to schedule a thorough mold inspection.

Know How To Identify Mold

When trying to determine which type of mold you're dealing with, there are certain features you should look for. They include the following:

• Smell
• Symptoms
• Appearance

Here is more detail on what to be on the lookout for.

Mold has a very distinctive odor, one that is heavily musky and pungent. If you detect a heavy mildew smell in your home, chances are that you're dealing with a more toxic form of house mold.

Black fungi can be extremely harmful to a home and can eat away at its materials and structure until the very foundation becomes compromised. As the mold feeds on materials such as drywall and lumber, you may begin to notice the following symptoms:

• Dark rings or spots on the ceiling
• Visible growth on the walls
• Excessive moisture on or around building materials
• Crumbling drywall
• Sagging ceilings

If one or all of these symptoms are present, you may be dealing with black house mold.

A quick mold inspection by a trained professional can help you determine whether or not you are dealing with black mold. It often thrives in environments that are constantly exposed to moisture (though this is not always the case). This type of fungi looks different from others and is characterized by a black or grayish hue, but it can be many colors. It often appears as slimy.

If you suspect that your home is infested with mold, reach out to your local mold remediation experts to schedule a mold inspection. Because of the fungi’s toxic nature, you should get an accurate diagnosis and begin remediation efforts as soon as possible.

3 Common Areas for Mold Your Bathroom

12/22/2020 (Permalink)

Macro white tiles with a grout mold. Mold is found in the grout that holds tiles together

3 Common Areas for Mold Your Bathroom

In the wild, mold's ability to decompose its host is vital for the ecosystem. In your home, however, it will gradually rot organic household building materials leading homeowners in South Pottstown, PA, to accrue home damage costs. Bathrooms provide mold the essential elements it needs to thrive, including:

  • Moisture
  • Nutrients
  • Darkness

Due to the constant use of water in bathrooms, it is not uncommon to find fungus growing in more than one area. Here are some common places for mold in your bathroom.

Mold is found in the grout that holds tiles together. The tiles in your shower are constantly damp, and grout contains the proper nutrition for fungus to grow. Left unattended, it can deteriorate the grout and spread behind the tiles, eventually causing them to fall. A mold cleaning service, such as mold remediation, is often necessary under these circumstances.

Though mold in the walls is not limited to bathrooms, the constant use of water in this space leaves them damp, especially if there is no ventilation system installed. Spotting black, green, or yellow-colored slime on the walls is a matter of urgency and should be cleaned immediately. Fungus that is allowed to develop will cause the wooden structure to rot.

Toilets, Showerheads, Faucets, and Pipes
Fungus grows where water accumulates, especially in the water dispensing and draining areas of your bathroom. Unproperly drained pipes can hold water long enough for mold spores to develop. Mold cleaning in these instances involves drainage of substances that kill it, such as hot water and vinegar. Showerheads, toilets, and faucets can also be cleaned with vinegar to prevent unwanted colonies.
Cleaning your bathroom weekly will prevent severe mold damage. Likewise, installing a ventilation system where dampness and humidity are unavoidable is ideal for mold prevention. In some cases, it is best to hire a company that provides mold cleaning services to properly remove it.

7 Steps for Mold Remediation

Here Are Seven Steps For Proper Mold Remediation

As a Phoenixville, PA, business owner, you have a lot of responsibilities. On top of all your daily tasks, it’s essential to ensure the safety and health of your employees. Mold is one issue that many business owners fail to understand until it has become a problem. Don’t let black mold catch you by surprise.

1. Professional Contacts
First, a business owner should have contact information for a clean up and restoration company. Many restoration companies provide emergency services and can be on-site fast to assist with the situation. Mold can spread quickly, in as little as 48 hours, so should be taken care of by a mold remediation specialist as soon as possible.

2. Inspection and Assessment
Because mold needs moisture to grow, an inspection can determine the cause of the problem. Common causes for moisture in a building include leaking roofs or plumbing, flooding, or high humidity levels. A specialist can walk around your property to determine the source of moisture.

3. Containment
While the moisture problem is corrected, remediation professionals work to contain the mold spores. Fans and HVAC systems are turned off to prevent black mold from spreading. Special tools and procedures are used to isolate the area during the work.

4. Air Decontamination
Filtration equipment captures mold spores and prevents them from spreading. HEPA vacuums and air scrubbers are some tools that may be used.

5. Removal
Depending on the area that has been contaminated with mold, it may be necessary to remove drywall, carpeting and belongings. Porous materials are especially difficult to remove mold from and may need to be thrown away.

6. Cleaning
There are cleaning and sanitizing methods available for furniture, curtains, clothing and other items that have been affected by mold. Fogging equipment is used to remove strong odors.

7. Restoration
The final step in mold cleanup is restoration, replacing drywall, carpet and other building materials. Getting your building back to normal operating standards is essential.
Business owners need to understand the importance of dealing with a black mold problem as quickly as possible. Mold remediation specialists are available to assist with cleanup.

Which Air Filtration Systems Best Remove Mold?

10/7/2020 (Permalink)

Air filter for HVAC system - filtration concept One of your best options is a purifier that includes a HEPA filter

Air filtration is a great way to keep harmful impurities away from your family. Using an air purifier has other benefits as well, but you need to know which one is best capable of removing noxious mold spores. Read on to find out which types are most effective at completing the task.

Benefits of Air Purification

Besides removing floating fungal invaders, air purifiers generate atmospheres that are:

  • Clean
  • Odorless
  • Dustless
  • Free From Pet Dander

Note that HVAC attachments reduce the burden placed upon your device, subsequently extending its life.
Although most purifiers can achieve the above objectives with ease, not all are as effective at eliminating mold spores. Making the right choice of air filtration is critical if you wish to keep your house free from a situation requiring the services of a mold renovation specialist.

Styles of Air Purification
Assuming your primary goal is to remove aerial fungi, one of your best options is a purifier that includes a HEPA filter. Able to remove 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns or larger, machines equipped as such can be expected to vastly improve your home’s breathability. Be certain to regularly change its filter, though, as failure to do so can result in captured specks escaping.
Your other superior choice is a Photo Electrochemical Oxidizer. Using light activation to destroy air particles, these contraptions are capable of actually eradicating airborne offenders instead of merely trapping them.
Many other systems exist, but none are better than either of the above selections. Photocatalytic oxidizers, for instance, can expunge some organic molecules, but they are highly inefficient. Ozone generators flood your residence with this peculiar-smelling form of oxygen on purpose, a bad idea for those with certain sensitivities. Carbon filter purifiers, which trap gasses, are totally incapable of removing fungus spores.
Keep your residence in North - East Coventry, PA, clear of mold growth through the use of effective air filtration, making sure that whichever model you pick is capable of handling the job.

6 Places To Check for Mold Growth in a Commercial Facility

9/1/2020 (Permalink)

Places To Check For Mold Growth

The ominous musty odor of mold often alerts many commercial property owners to the growth of the fungus. While you can immediately call an indoor environmental specialist in Phoenixville, PA, out to your property to perform a mold test, you can always perform a thorough inspection of areas common to fungal development.

1. Plumbing
Look around exposed plumbing throughout your facility. Search for damp areas or signs of leaks. The plumbing problem need not be extensive; a few consistent drips are often enough to lead to mold growth. Unfortunately, not all plumbing issues occur on exposed pipes, which means you may need a professional inspection to rule it out.

2. Foundation
Take a walk around the outside of the building and in the basement. Look for signs of damage, like cracks in the building materials, anywhere that water may enter the property.

3. Windows
Before contacting the indoor environmental specialist, check around the windows, making sure that the seals are intact. Many facility owners neglect window and door seals, which can lead to water intrusion and mold development.

4. Vents
Kitchen and bathroom vents can trap all sorts of debris that become food to mold, and when in a humid space, development can occur rapidly. Also, the seals around roof vents, when old, can provide another access point for water.

5. Storage Units
Many warehouse facilities have large storage units that do not move. Unfortunately, these units, especially those against walls, can hide water damage and mold. During your inspection, pull away boxes and materials to view the wall behind the shelves.

6. Appliances
Pull appliances out to ensure there are no leaks. Also, clean frequently used devices, like microwaves, to eliminate a potential food source for mold.
While a thorough inspection is not a replacement for the tests performed by an indoor environmental specialist, it can make you aware of an actual problem. The odor alone is not an indicator for mold; finding visual proof of growth, and then testing is the only definitive approach.

3 Signs Your House Has Nasty Black Mold

8/13/2020 (Permalink)

Three Potential Signs Of Mold In Your Home

Inside your home, the air is filled with countless spores of all sorts of different fungi. Most are harmless, but some can cause explosive mold growth in the right conditions.
Unfortunately, air purifiers are generally no help in the fight against mold. There are three potential signs of mold in your house:

  • Visible mold growth
  • Flooding or water damage
  • A noticeable musty odor inside

1. Black, Green or Yellow Mold Can Be Visible
Unless you can actually see the mold, you’ll probably need a mold test by an indoor environmental specialist in Kimberton, PA, to know for sure. Here are two other signs that you need to test your home for mold.

2. Water Damage Should Always Be Suspect
Mold loves water and cellulose. That’s why water-damaged wood and especially drywall are so attractive to it – it provides the perfect combination of nutrients and a porous surface, leading to uncontrollable growth.
After a water leak or flooding in Kimberton, PA, you need a licensed indoor environmental specialist to check for hidden damage. A Certified Industrial Hygienist can perform a thorough examination for any area of potential mold.
Black mold can grow anywhere the conditions are conducive. Once a porous surface with available food has absorbed water, the mold doesn’t need light to develop. It digs into construction materials and even carpets, becoming tough to eliminate.

3. A Moldy or Mildew Smell Is a Sure Sign
A very transient smell of fungus may come from outside. However, if you notice a musty odor more than once in a spot, you have fungus growing inside – it’s like smoke to fire.
Mold damage can often be easily fixed if caught early. Once the indoor environmental specialist has identified the location, a restoration technician will strip the mold from all surfaces or replace items that can’t be cleaned.
Most areas can be disinfected using SERVPROXIDE™, a hospital-grade disinfectant. Other, less water-sensitive items can be sanitized – not only removing mold spores but even killing dangerous viruses and bacteria. SERVPRO returns your home “Like it never even happened.”

How To Distinguish Mold From Mildew

5/13/2020 (Permalink)

The finger of the hand points to the black fungus on the white wall. Mold and mildew are both fungi

How To Distinguish Mold From Mildew

Mold and mildew are both fungi. In general, the effects of mildew are less severe than mold. This is particularly the case in comparison with toxigenic mold species such as black mold. The following considerations are helpful for distinguishing mold from mildew at a building in East-West Pikeland, PA.

Mold and mildew differ in appearance. Mildew starts as gray, white, or yellow spots that turn brown or black. Mildew may be downy or powdery in texture. Depending on the stage of the growth cycle, mold may be any of the following colors:

  • Black
  • Blue
  • Brown
  • Gray
  • Green
  • White
  • Yellow

It is impossible to accurately identify mold species based solely on a visual examination. For example, alternaria, aspergillus or cladosporium all may appear black. None of these species of mold are stachybotrys chartarum or black mold.

Mildew primarily grows on plants, organic materials, and damp surfaces. Mold can grow wherever moisture and nutriment are available. Both types of fungus are prone to grow in an indoor area with a moisture problem. It is important to restore water damage caused by plumbing or roof leaks to discourage fungi from growing. Damp surfaces that are relatively undisturbed are ideal environments for fungal infestations.

There is a simple way to determine whether fungi are more likely to be mildew than mold. Put a few drops of chlorine on the affected area. If growth becomes lighter, it is probably mildew. If the color remains unchanged, the fungus is probably mold. Chlorine bleach is not effective for mold cleanup because this solution does not penetrate to the mycelium, which is similar to a root structure.
While mildew poses less of a risk than black mold, it is important to clean and disinfect any area where fungus is growing at a building in East-West Pikeland, PA. Controlling moisture levels can discourage mildew and mold from returning.

The Importance of Using a Certified Mold Removal Specialist

Reasons To Hire A Certified Mold Expert

Do you suspect a mold issue in your home? Have you contacted your insurer? While many home insurance policies may not cover mold damage, some do. While it can be tempting to handle mold removal on your own, there are several reasons that is not a good idea. However, in regards to coverage and reliability, there are at least four reasons to hire a certified mold expert in Phoenixville, PA.

  • Trusted
  • Knowledgeable
  • Trained
  • Reliability

The main reason to hire an expert with mold certification is that they are trusted in the industry. Insurance companies also prefer that you use certified companies because these companies have provable qualifications, which is beneficial when making a claim and ensuring a job is completed correctly.

A certified mold company is also knowledgeable in state regulations regarding mold removal. While it may seem to the layman that mold is simply discarded, that is not the case. There is a specific set of rules companies have to follow to maintain there license and to ensure that the public is not exposed.

Beyond the companies knowledge and license, those individuals who work as removal technicians must also obtain training and certification. All certified mold remediation companies take pride in their adherence to state and federal guidelines, and they could not obtain or maintain a license without adherence to those rules.

Last, hiring a mold remediation professional is more reliable than a DIY approach. If you remove the infestation yourself and the infestation comes back, you are out that additional money to remove the problem again. Most professionals offer a guarantee of removal, which means if the infestation returns, then they will remove it again at no additional cost.
Always trust mold removal to certified mold companies. True, the job can sometimes appear to be minor, but if it ends up being larger than anticipated, you have put yourself at greater risk financially. Do yourself a favor and call in the experts in certified mold remediation.

Luke Bryan Gives a SERVPRO Franchise a Shout Out

12/4/2018 (Permalink)

As a SERVPRO Franchise, we are always pleased to hear great reviews from our customers. However its not everyday that the SERVPRO Brand receives a huge shout out from celebrities like Luke Bryan! Luke's mothers home was damaged during Hurricane Michael down in Florida  and during an interview talking about his mother and the efforts that everyone is making to help restore the coast, Luke specifically gave SERVPRO a shout out and thanked them for their efforts in the wake of Hurricane Michael. There is still a long way to go for the folks affected from Hurricane Michael, but it's great to hear that SERVPRO's Storm Teams are out in full force on the coast and helping to make it, "Like it never even happened."

The age old saying.

As a family owned and operated SERVPRO franchise we understand the importance of our customers satisfaction and always work to ensure feelings of security and comfort inside your home or business while we work to make it, "Like it never even happened." However, old sayings die hard in our little SERVPRO family and that's why we pride ourselves on SERVPRO of North East Chester County's owner Mike Andris' timeless phrase, "Do it right...the first time." There's more to this saying but I think those of you who have heard it before can agree just the first bit is enough...and here at SERVPRO of North East Chester County, "Do it right...the first time," always ensures that we make it, "Like it never even happened."

The Emergency Ready Profile

The Best Way to Reduce Business Interruption Following a Disaster is to Plan For it NOW.

As many as 50% of businesses may never recover following a disaster, according to the latest industry research. Of the businesses that survive, the overwhelming majority of them had a preparedness plan in place. Pre-planning can serve as an insurance policy aimed at peace of mind.

By developing a SERVPRO Emergency READY Profile for your business, you minimize business interruption by having an immediate plan of action. Knowing what to do and what to expect in advance is the key to timely mitigation and can help minimize how water and fire damage can affect your business.

Are You Ready?

Preparation is a key component for making it through any size disaster, whether it’s a small water leak, a large fire or an area flood. The best time for planning for such events is not when the event happens, but well before it happens. No one ever plans on a disaster, but you can plan for it. Now is the time to ask yourself, “Are you ready for whatever could happen?”

The SERVPRO Emergency READY Profile is a start up approach that provides the critical information needed to begin mitigation and recovery services. It is designed to serve as a quick reference of important building and contact information. By working with SERVPRO’s Emergency READY Profile, your business will receive the benefit of over 40 years of experience in reducing the impact of any natural or man-made disaster. SERVPRO is a leader in water and fire damage response and can help you quickly get your property back in working order.

The SERVPRO Emergency READY Profile Advantage

A no cost assessment of your facility. – This means there is no need to allocate funds, giving you a great value at no cost.

A concise Profile Document that contains only the critical information needed in the event of an emergency. – It will only take a little time to complete and will not take you away from current projects. But it will save a lot of time if ever needed.

A guide to help you get back into your building following a disaster. – This can help minimize the amount of time your business is inactive by having an immediate plan of action.

Establishes your local SERVPRO Franchise Professional as your disaster mitigation and restoration provider. – You have a provider that is recognized as an industry leader and close by.

Identification of the line of command for authorizing work to begin. – This saves time so we can begin the work of mitigating the damage which can save you time and money.

Provides facility details such as shut-off valve locations, priority areas and priority contact information. – Having a quick reference of what to do, how to do it and who to call provides solutions in advance of an emergency so that during the emergency you are “Ready for whatever happens.”
